Zora has announced the launch of its native token, ZORA, which will serve as a core component of the protocol's decentralized infrastructure.

The platform integrates multiple modules—Zora Swap for liquidity trading, Vaults for automated yield aggregation, Lending for non-custodial borrowing and lending, and DAO governance for decision-making. The ZORA token functions as a unifying element across the protocol’s modules, providing holders with governance rights, protocol incentives, fee reductions, and access to staking rewards. The token incorporates a deflationary mechanism—such as buyback and burn programs—aimed at supporting the protocol’s long-term sustainability.

Zora emphasizes security through multi-layered protections, including external audits from CertiK and PeckShield, multi-sig wallets, an insurance fund, and real-time liquidation monitoring. This ensures user assets remain fully protected while protocol logic executes transparently on-chain.
