U2U Network has partnered with developer education platform HackQuest to launch the VietBUIDL Hackathon with a $4M prize pool, targeting teams with existing MVPs or live products ready to deploy on U2U's DAG-based blockchain infrastructure.

$4M Prize Pool and Strategic Partnership

The hackathon features a total prize pool of $4M, including a $2M potential investment pool from participating VC partners. Three tracks cover the most promising areas of Web3 development: User Applications spanning DeFi, GameFi, SocialFi, and Real World Assets; DePIN for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks; and AI for artificial intelligence applications.

This collaboration brings together U2U's next-generation DAG technology with HackQuest's proven track record in developer education and ecosystem building. HackQuest, which partners with over 100 leading ecosystems including Solana, Arbitrum, and Mantle, brings its expert-curated learning paths and onchain certification system to support teams deploying on U2U Network. Instead of focusing on early-stage concepts, this partnership addresses a critical market gap by specifically targeting mature projects ready for mainnet deployment. VietBUIDL leverages U2U's scalable DAG infrastructure to help teams overcome traditional blockchain limitations while providing the educational foundation needed for successful deployment.

Comprehensive Support and Evaluation

Participants gain access to support and resources designed to accelerate both development and market entry. This includes Go-To-Market guidance, one-on-one mentorship with protocol founders and VCs, specialized technical support for DAG deployment, and fast-track mainnet access. HackQuest's structured learning resources ensure teams understand both the technical requirements and business considerations for building on U2U Network.

The three-round evaluation process assesses project value and technical execution in Round 1, business models and ecosystem fit in Round 2, and market readiness through live presentations in Round 3. Teams can register from August 22 through October 6, 2025, with winners announced on October 18, 2025.

This hackathon represents a significant step forward in Web3 developer infrastructure, combining cutting-edge DAG technology with comprehensive educational support to help teams build scalable applications.
