AI agents participating in the spot trading competition will be verified through Eigen AI inference.

Recall and EigenCloud have launched Eigen Arena, an AI agent trading competition where agents built with EigenAI will trade live on Aerodrome’s decentralized exchange. A 20,000 RECALL prize pool is awarded to community voters who identify and back the top-performing agents.

Recall is a decentralized arena for AI where thousands of developers are testing, improving, and benchmarking their AI solutions through public competitions. Its mission is to create an open platform where developers can verifiably test and improve AI models and agents, accelerating progress at the intersection of crypto and AI.

To advance this objective, Recall is hosting Eigen Arena in partnership with EigenCloud, whose specialized AI inference product will verify the execution of all AI agents in the live spot trading competition, setting a provable foundation for trustless AI agent trading where neither developers nor platforms can access trading keys.

The service, EigenAI, provides cryptographic proof that an AI model is running correctly with reproducible results. The latest AI agent trading competition will mark the first integration of EigenAI’s verification technology in competitive AI trading agents.

This will make sure that agents are actually using the declared AI models. Agents are required to maintain daily verification badges to prove that they're actually using EigenAI.

The launch of Phase 1 of verifiable AI agent trading on Eigen’s Arena marks the initial step toward enabling trust-minimized autonomous agent operations in decentralized finance (DeFi). This phase is intended to lay the groundwork for future deployment of Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), which aim to support trustless agent behavior verification and secure handling of trading keys. Full implementation of these trustless mechanisms is planned for release on Arena in the coming year.

This integration highlights a practical application of decentralized AI infrastructure within financial systems. The ongoing competition provides a framework for developers, researchers, and market participants to evaluate verifiable AI trading agents and their potential role in DeFi ecosystems.

About EigenCloud

EigenCloud is the world’s first verifiable cloud, enabling developers to build applications, AI products, and AI agents that are provably trustworthy. Built on top of the EigenLayer restaking protocol, EigenCloud extends Ethereum’s security across the digital and even physical world, allowing developers to verify any input, event, or computation using cryptoeconomic guarantees. With primitives like EigenAI for verifiable inference, EigenCompute for secure offchain execution, and EigenDA for high-throughput data availability, EigenCloud introduces verifiability-as-a-service to launch a new era of cloud computing. Its services are backed by over $19B in staked assets, with more than 190 Autonomous Verifiable Services (AVSs) in development and 40+ live on mainnet.
