ADGM and global Web3 venture capital firm Hashed announced they will co-host the Web3 Leaders Roundtable on December 10 during Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW). The closed-door forum, led by ADGM’s Registration Authority Emerging Tech Team and Hashed, will convene senior figures from international finance, technology, and policy to examine the practical intersections of AI, blockchain, and digital asset regulation.
The program features participation from Web3 founders, global financial institutions, and senior policymakers, including Joseph Lubin (Consensys) and Charles Hoskinson (Input Output Global). Their joint appearance in a public roundtable setting reflects the roundtable’s focus on cross-ecosystem dialogue.
Participating organizations collectively oversee multi-trillion-dollar assets and market influence, demonstrating the level of institutional engagement convened through ADGM and Hashed’s global network.
Regulatory participation will be led by ADGM, and senior representatives from international regulatory bodies have also been invited to contribute perspectives on supervision, market standards, and emerging technology frameworks.
His Excellency Rashed Al Blooshi, ADGM Registration CEO, said: "ADGM established one of the world's first dedicated regulatory functions for emerging technologies because we recognised that AI, blockchain, and real-world asset convergence demands a fundamentally different approach to governance. This roundtable embodies that philosophy – building frameworks through direct dialogue with the innovators and institutions shaping tomorrow's digital infrastructure, rather than regulating from a distance."
“AI and blockchain are beginning to reshape financial and economic architecture,” said Simon Kim, CEO of Hashed. “This roundtable provides a focused environment for senior leaders to compare approaches and identify areas where cooperation may be beneficial.”
The roundtable is organized into two structured discussions: Session 1 — Digital Infrastructure 2030: Convergence of AI, Web3, and Real-World Assets and Session 2 — Institutional Adoption and Regulation of Digital Assets.
Session 1 examines how autonomous AI agents, blockchain networks, and real-world infrastructure may integrate to support next-generation digital economies. Session 2, led by Hashed as Official Partner, focuses on regulated digital asset market structures, stablecoin adoption, and cross-border regulatory approaches.
Participants include representatives from BlackRock, the European Commission, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, DTCC, DBS Bank, SharpLink, Laser Digital, Tether, Circle, Ava Labs, Solana Foundation, Story, Near Protocol, and KiteAI. Key outcomes from the discussions will be compiled into a formal report, which will be distributed to 50+ jurisdictions across the world.
Technology Demonstration by ShardLab: x402
Hashed’s subsidiary ShardLab will present a demonstration of the x402 machine-native payment standard, which repurposes the unused “402 Payment Required” HTTP code as a framework for autonomous Agent-to-Agent (A2A) transactions. The demo will include JWT-based authentication and a streaming-payment use case.
